About Us

Minato Science Museum thrives to be a place where many people gather to think about the future of the city and Earth.
We have a permanent exhibition area where you can see the exhibits, as well as experience the science in daily life, a state-of-art planetarium providing live explanations on starry sky and original programs, and a laboratory where various seminars and workshops take place. We also provide you with a wide variety of menu including special exhibitions exploring various topics.
In addition, the Meteorological Science Museum of the Japan Meteorological Agency is located on the second floor of the same building, making our facility a unique place with two science museums at one place.
We welcome those who are interested in science as well as those who are not. You would have joyful time and learn science without knowing it.
